MA LS (96 version): Inquiry: Observe and describe familiar objects and events, identifying details, similarities and differences

Properties of Matter: Identify the observable properties of objects such as size, weight, shape, and color. For example, in their explorations students use the properties of various objects to describe, group, or classify them.

MA LS (01 version): K-2 Physical Science: Sort objects by observable properties such as size, shape, color, weight, and texture.
BPS LS: The senses are sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.

A student response correctly giving the minimum number of responses or details is a Level 3.
