MA LS (96 version): Earth and Space Sciences: Illustrate that the earth’s surface is composed of water, rocks, soils, and living organisms. Describe ways in which the Sun, Moon, planets, meteors, clouds and other objects in the sky can be identified by properties such as size, shape, color, brightness, and movement.
MA LS (01 version): K-2 Earth Science: Recognize that water, rocks, soil, and living organisms can be found on the earth’s surface. Recognize that the sun supplies heat and light to the earth and is necessary for life.
